Hello Allison – I heard you speak last month and wanted to let you know that I think you are amazing. You left a huge impression on me and after one hour, I became one of your biggest supporters. Thanks for all you have done for women and education. I wish you all the best.

Allison – My 12 year old grandson and I drive back and forth from Brentwood to his school in the Palisades (Calvary Christian) every day, and along the way we began to notice your signs. Today I told him I’d look up “Allison for LA school board” and find out more about you. I can’t wait to show him your web site, and share what a great candidate you are. You represent our values, and your experience is just what we need. Atlas is named for the Atlas Mountains in Marrakesh, known to some as the dividing line between black and white Africa. We’re a racially mixed family, and proud of it. Atlas graduated from Kenter Canyon Charter Elementary School last year, and his sister Mieke is in 4th grade there. Our family wants to support all children to have the great education we are blessed to receive. I’m the grandma known as “Bubbe” and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area but will likely move to LA soon. (The address shown below is my daughter’s in Brentwood.) I’m a frequent volunteer at Kenter, and by profession I"m a developmental editor for books and essays. I raised my kids, including Atlas’s mother, in public schools in Brookline, Mass. If ever you want writing support, please ask me. www.annmatranga.com We’re for you!

How do I get a sign for my front garden. Having seen you in action working for all students, I know that you will be a great addition to the School Board. You can count on my vote.

Hi Allison – I’m reaching out to you as a Co-President of the PTO from WISH Charter in Westchester. My apologies for the late contact but we have reached out to candidates to provide a means to connect with our community. Tomorrow, Saturday 02/25/17, we are having a beach clean-up from 9am-11am at Toes Beach in Playa. We thought it might be a great opportunity to set-up a table and connect with some WISH families., maybe a Q & A etc.. Please let me know if that would be possible ASAP. Thanks so much.

HI there! I’m Suzanne with CBS LA and I am writing to get contact info for Allison’s campaign manager.

We have a very targeted mobile ad product that will be useful in getting Allison on the LAUSD Board for District 4. I’m happy to share more, but in a nutshell, we can help you reach people who regularly vote and by party affiliation within District 4.

Thank you in advance for providing contact for Allison’s campaign manager.

I am Professor at UCLA and I am teaching an education policy course this quarter. I’d like to use the course as a venue for a school board candidates forum for people running in District 4. I’m thinking of holding it on either February 15th or 22nd at 10am. I have about 175 students and I would advertise the event across the campus. My course is also live streamed by UCLA so it would get some good coverage. I would select a small group of students to pose questions for the event and I would serve as the moderator.

Let me know if you would be interested in participating, and if so, which date is best. Thanks. – Pedro Noguera
